This constructor takes care of creating the GUI.

PicturePanel

public PicturePanel(javax.swing.JFrame aParent)

This constructor creates the GUI and keeps a reference to the parent frame which wan be used for resizing.

Parameters:

aParent - JFrame with the parent frame.

Method Detail

setPicture

public void setPicture(java.lang.String aFilename)

This method allows the setting of a new picture on the panel.

Parameters:

aFilename - String with the filename for the picture to load.

setPicture

public void setPicture(java.io.File aFilename)

This method allows the setting of a new picture on the panel.

Parameters:

aFilename - File with the filename for the picture to load.

rescalePicture

public void rescalePicture(double times)

This method will rescale the picture according to the multiplication specified. If this is a negative multiplication, it will be converted into the (-1/x) form. EG., -4 becomes (-1/-4) = 0.25.

Parameters:

times - double with the scaling factor (if negative, becomes (-1/x) - see above.

setRootFolder

public void setRootFolder(java.lang.String aFolder)

This method takes a root path from which all pictures are read, and each of these can be displayed.

Parameters:

aFolder - String with the path for the root folder.

setParentFolder

public void setParentFolder(java.lang.String aFolder)

This method allows the setting of the parent folder for all the comics.

Parameters:

aFolder - String with the parent folder (the one above all the comments).

main

public static void main(java.lang.String[] args)

Main method is for testing purposes.

Parameters:

args - String[] with the start-up arguments.
